My dad is a campus minister here in Dayton, Ohio. He works at several schools in the area. He works with college students through a ministry called Crosswalk. Dad leads Bible studies and helps students tell others about Jesus. He also works with churches and leads missions trips around the world. My mom homeschools us. She also leads worship at our church.

 

We have students in our home all the time. Sometimes I get to help out my dad at schools too. I write with sidewalk chalk to tell people about activities. I also hand out popcorn and cotton candy.

 

I have been to lots of events with students from other countries. We have these students in our home every Thanksgiving—and sometimes even at Christmas! I have also helped my dad teach kids from the inner city how to swim.
 

 

I have three brothers and a sister: Drew (21), Rachel (19), Seth (17), and Caleb (13). Drew and Rachel are going away to college next fall. I’m going to miss them!

 

I play soccer during the fall and spring, and swim on a swim team in the summer. I’ve been doing martial arts (Kuk Sul Do) for a year now. I’m about ready to test for my fourth belt. I love to draw and do all kinds of art. I also love animals! I have a German Shepherd and several fish. I would like to work with animals some day.

 

Please pray for my dad as he works with college students. Pray that he will be able to find good leaders to help more students. Pray that he will have everything he needs to minister to the students. Pray also that I can find ways to help others learn about Jesus.
